If there’s one thing I’m always doing…it’s texting screenshots, links, and “you need this” finds to my friends throughout the week. So after months of sharing my Friday Five series on Instagram, it only felt right to bring it over here and make it a little more in depth. (I can’t help it, I am a yapper)
Think of this as the extended cut. The pieces I’m genuinely loving lately, the random finds that made everyday life easier, the things I keep reaching for, rewearing, recommending, and honestly talking about way too much. Some are practical, some are fun, some are just because they make life feel a little more chic, but every single one earned a spot here for a reason.

FRIDAY FIVE: Vol 1
#1 THE foundation of the Summer
I’ve been wearing next to no make up these days but this is one product I almost ALWAYS have on. I restocked on the Versed Skin Solution Multi-Serum Skin Tint during a recent Target run. I love that it has SPF 40 and has buildable coverage, so it can work as a glowy base or as a true foundation. While I love my It Cosmetics CC Cream, this is a bit more lightweight and less “makeupy”. I am calling it now that this is THE foundation for the Summer. It comes in multiple shade options and you can grab it at Target! In the cooler months when I’m more pale I wear shade 3P and when I’m a little more tan I wear shade 5N.

#2 Ralph Lauren inspired flag sweater
Ralph Lauren Summer is upon us ladies, and this Target sweater is a MUST HAVE!! I have it from last year and it always sells out. Currently stocked in ivory and a pretty light pink color, trust me you are going to want this for Memorial Day Weekend and July 4th! It is so cute worn normally or draped over your shoulders with the flag showing on your back. This is 100% a high sell out risk so I wanted to share it here so you don’t miss out.

#3 New rug for the nursery
Mama Adams comes back to Chicago next week and I’m determined to finish some house projects so I just ordered this rug for the nursery! I absolutely adore the vintage inspired design, the colors go perfectly with our already green walls in the nursery and I love that it will add in some pink and girly vibes to the space.
Plus the best part? It’s WASHABLE. Which all you mamas already know is a non negotiable for a nursery rug. Cannot wait to finish up the nursery and share a full final reveal here! Stay tuned.
#4 Mommy & me dreams coming true in plaid swimsuits
Ok, so if you couldn’t tell, I’m fully in my matching-my-mini era right now and this plaid print in my favorite one-piece style is giving major ’90s summer vibes. It’s actually so nostalgic that I vividly remember owning a pair of Bermuda shorts in this exact print back in the ’90s 😂 Unlike some of my other fashion flashbacks from that decade that probably should’ve stayed there, this is one trend I have very fond memories of :)
